Mirror Mirror YXE Course, all girls 12-18 welcome!
October 5th - November 2nd, 2017
Join us in the loft, just inside Entrance A at Elim Church! Mirror Mirror is a powerful course designed to help students fulfill the Broad Areas of Learning and the curricular outcomes specified by the Saskatchewan Health Curriculum. The purpose of Mirror Mirror is for students to embrace the truth that they are valuable and have purpose. Not only will this enhance students’ personal fulfillment, but also their positive contributions to the world. It also gives practical advice for students to practice as they learn to believe that they are valuable, and find freedom from insecurity that manifests itself through self-focus, gossip, bullying, anxiety, depression, self-harm and disengagement. Mirror Mirror offers students an awareness of the obstacles keeping them from reaching their full potential and empowers them to take effective steps to overcome them. The course also helps students to identify and develop their strengths and gifts! As a result, they can unleash the creative power they were meant to express. The five-week course is facilitated by our team of trained professionals in the fields of health care and social work.
Sisterhoodyxe Presents Restore My Soul

We Gather, Empower, Mobilize women and girls to Spread Hope and Promote Justice.
As women, we are uniquely created and designed by the Father; Body, Soul and Spirit. We are each designed with passion and intuition, a nurturing spirit and creativity, strength and wisdom. Our world can and often does deplete us of this beautiful design. We long to refresh, reignite, realign and be RESTORED by the One Himself who is our Creator.
Please join us women ( teens to wisdom years) as we seek God to Restore our Souls through worshipping together and hearing from our Special Guests, Leah Beutler (The Rock Church) and Sonia Reid Noble (The Neighbourhood Church).
Come hear about and join in the INITIATIVES that Sisterhood YXE puts energy and resources to serve.

Motives - Workshops for Youth and Young Adults
November 9th - November 23rd, 2017
Motives by Greg and Chantel Denie is a three-session workshop brought to you by Mirror Mirror YXE for guys and girls! The sessions are designed to strengthen youth and young adults to live our their God-given mission. Greg is an artist, motivational speaker and director of Legacy 1 and will be facilitating these workshops with his wife Chantel.
Trying to understand ourselves in one thing, trying to understand what motivates others is something completely different. During these workshops, Greg and Chantel Denie will work with teens and young adults to help them understand their motivational DNA. The reason they think the way they do, what motivates them to excel, what frustrates them and how they can learn to understand others. This workshop will include interactive teaching, and insightful assessments that help people understand what motivates them. The sessions will help participants discover what they have to offer at their schools, workplaces and communities and how to do it with confidence and excellence.

Kim & Darlene have been married over 30 years which has required learning to communicate, resolve conflict, prefer one another and laugh until it hurts. They have three incredible sons: Matthew is pursuing kingdom business, Joel has a teaching degree and Jordan beat us all to heaven. Their journey with Jordan is blogged at www.jordanshealing.blogspot.com.
While Kim’s degree is in theology, he has founded Inspired Life Training (www.inspiredlifetraining.com), turning his years of experience to become a counselor providing family, individual, couple and executive coaching and training. Darlene’s degree is in education, majoring in counselling. She developed True To You (www.truetoyouokanagan.com), an abstinence-based program. She has had incredible opportunities to provide presentations to students from grades 6 to college age in schools and other organizations. Teaching and training parents to converse with their children regarding adolescent development is her passion. They are the ones having a 1000 little conversations instead of the one “big talk” about healthy relationships and healthy sexuality as God intended.
